People of all ages are committed to litter and dumping prevention in Southern Nevada.  Many have joined us at Don’t Trash Nevada clean-up events to work toward litter-free public lands.  We are pleased to highlight some of the events and recognize the efforts of our partners and volunteers.

Don’t Trash Nevada would like to thank Whole Foods Market- Fort Apache for its recent donation of prizes that were awarded to participants in a new interactive promotion. A Don’t Trash Nevada street team  visited Mt. Charleston over the fourth of July weekend, talked with visitors about the area’s beauty and litter problem, and distributed trash bags. The team walked the meadows, the campgrounds, and the picnic areas. Recipients of the bags were asked to pledge to fill the bag and dispose of it properly. The great donations were awarded to groups, individuals, and families that pledged to keep Mt. Charleston litter free. Thank you Whole Foods Market- Fort Apache for encouraging all of us to keep our state in a beautiful state!
