A messaging campaign has been implemented to inform the public about this issue and hopefully change behavior. In Southern Nevada, illegal dumping and litter are major concerns for our public lands. The Don't Trash Nevada Campaign reminds people that Nevada is a unique and beautiful place where littering and dumping are not acceptable.
Please take the time to view our awareness campaign materials and feel free to save them or forward them to someone who may need a reminder. Nevada's beauty is everyone's duty.

Take Pride in America in Southern Nevada worked with UNLV students to produce several Public Service Announcements (PSA). Some of these PSAs have been aired on television, spreading the word about litter and illegal dumping prevention.
The Take Pride in America in Southern Nevada Team partnered with the National Take Pride in America office to produce a PSA seen across the country. Mr. Clint Eastwood also took the time to film a few PSAs with a message specific to Southern Nevada's public lands. You can see some of these ads by clicking on the links below. You can also visit www.takepride.gov to learn more about the national campaign.
